Advice on Microsoft Zune MP3 player?

I'm considering buying a Microsoft Zune MP3 player, but I have a few questions. Does anyone own one that can give me their input? How easy is it to find movies and tv shows online to download? Do I have to use the Zune marketplace? (I've heard it's limited) If I downloaded movies from other sites is it possible to convert them to watch on my Zune? Or is there some type of copy protection on those movies that prevent that? I've also heard Zune will not play some older MP3s, but I'm not sure? Is there a way to convert them if so? As you can tell, my questions are basically in regard to the Zune being able to play different formats of video and audio…or atleast being able to convert them to Zune format. Any advice is appreciated.

One last question…can I use the AC and DC adapters while I'm using my Zune to keep the battery from running down? Or are these adapters only for charging the battery?
