buy an ipod that came free with my friend's computer?

is it wrong or wierd to ask my friend for an ipod. because right now shes geting a macbook. but when you buy a macbook she gets a free 8gb nano or touch. i want the nano because i hate the itouch because i was actually gonna buy it the 16gb when it first came out but then EVERYBODY got it. now i dont want it i want the nano. but my friend has a 2nd generation nano and she doesnt need a new one. her brother also has a nano so she really doesnt need it so i want to buy the ipod from her for maybe $100-!50. is that wrong? she is getting it for free. and that way we both make money. you know? idk. it feels kinda wierd and pushy asking to buy it at a cheaper price. plus i want to engrave it online and if she does get it for me i would need her to do that for me. so i feel wierd doing it
