Does anyone else think that iPod earphones really suck?

Mine lasted all of about seven months and I took one look at the price tag for a new pair and walked straight out of the shop.

I'd had a pair of SONY ones that have lasted at least 10 years and they still have a healthy heartbeat.

Most people I know don't really like iPod earphones.
