I just recently bought an ipod video and I'm trying to put music videos on it, I finally figured out how to do it but the problem is the video plays but the sound doesnt. I was able to find out that the ipod only plays certain formats. All the videos I've tried to put on it seem to be a mpeg1 multiplex and that doesnt work with the ipod video. I'm trying to avoid paying for the videos, any suggestions on how I can fix the format problem or know where I can download free videos/movies/tv shows compatible with my ipod.

Use limewire. If you dont have it, you can download it for free. Click search, then click on video, and type in the music video. Then, when the video has finished downloading, you just click on the video, and when the name is highlighted, drag it into the itunes library. i tunes will automatically change the format. Then, drag the whole library into the ipod. I do this for my songs for my ipod mini. It should also work with videos.
