So im getting a xbox tomorrow and i don't know what game to get ( can only afford 1) i've had cod4 for my ps3 and loved it, is halo 3 and gears of war first person shooters like cod4 or third person shooters like mgs4. if they are FPS whats better?

but in halo 3 u see it from his point of view
i personally prefer halo 3 but wat about gta 4?

halo 3 is a first person shooter. gears of war is a third person shooter. i would recommend halo 3 over gow.

Halo 3 is a in first person like cod4, in gears of war you can see your guy. Halo 3 is a great game that i played a ton. Dont get it unless you have xbox live though.

HALO 3!!!! I know my answer my seem bias because i am a Halo fanatic, BUT seriously, i think it is a great game to have, especially if you can only afford one. It is First Person Shooter (cause you see from "his eyes") and it is very smooth…don't get me wrong, i love other games too, but halo 3 has by far, the highest replay value…you can literally play it until you're tired of the game, but still have SO MUCH MORE TO DO and have fun…you can play custom games, you can play the campaign (story mode), you can edit maps how youwish, you can watch your gameplay as a movie, you can save film clips, you can take screenshots, share your pics…the list goes on… i mean really, this game is really REALLY good. PLUS, i am sure you can get it used from gamestop for cheaper than any NEW game…like GTA4.
It is rated MA, for the language in campaign and realistic violence. But that's mnothing compared to the rating for GTA4.
It is different than COD, but i think the graphics are much smoother. If you get the game, you'll see what i'm talking about. The movement is much more fluid. I can see how many ppl say that COD is more "realistic" or "life-like" but i def perfer the Halo graphics over COD.

Get either COD4 or Mass Effect. Mass Effect is a terrific game, Gears & Mass Effect is a third-person shooter and Halo & COD4 are first-person shooters.
