How do I find my FC for Guitar Hero 3 and what all do I need to know before I start playing songs with other people?

I play on Expert. But don't be shy to play on a lower level if you can't do good. I don't hate people who play on lower levels than me. What I hate are people who can't play and pick Expert and waste a perfectly good game.
