I have a video on my iTunes that is .mpg and it will not download to my iPod. iTunes gives me a notice that the format will not play on my iPod. So can I perhaps convert it to a different format that will play, like mp3? Will that work? Can I do that? If so, how?
Thanks sooo much =]

Best way is Videora. It is free iPod video converter - simple - select your iPod model and it does all the conversion and resolution settings and everything.\
Here you download it:

Have fun.. johnny
by the way - mp3 is ONLY audio format while mpg is video format. You cannot replace one by the other - two totally different things.
