How do I get my friend’s phones password thing so we can share stuff with bluetooth?

Whenever I try to use bluetooth on my blackberry curve 8320 with a friend it always makes me give the other phones password or whatever. We can never find it in time so it just cancels the whole process. How do I find the password?!?
