In order to use the iPod, you have to use iTunes. If you uninstall iTunes, then the iPod can not be used to put music on it. Install the iTunes music player. After successfully installation, connect you iPod to the laptop with the USB cord that came with the iPod. iTunes will automatically detect your iPod is connected and will automatically open. At this point, go the the Music section under library on the left side of the window. Simply select the music you want on your iPod by clicking on it and drag the song or songs over to the Music section under the iPod on the left side. Continue to do this until all the music you want is on the iPod.
