i've managed to finally get videos downloaded from limewire onto my ipod by clicking 'advanced' and then 'convert selection for ipod' in the itunes software.
but now i can't get any sound from the video, appartly because the video file is a 'MPEG1 Muxed' format.
is there anyway to either 1) somehow get ipod to play 'MPEG1 Muxed' format (through some special technique!!) 2) or to download a different format from limewire that works properly with ipod?

There are programs you can buy that convert all type of video into a format iPod can use. Just do a search on the web and you will come up with the programs - they range from about 25 bucks to about 60.
