MY computer wont pick up my zune 4gb?

on my zune itz only like 2 dayz old nd every time i try 2 plug it into the computer it tell me it iz not pluged in ive tryed every thing the wedsite sayz 2 do i have the software it recomends ive downloaded the software like 3 time already on the zune i go 2 music nd all it sayz is go to zune.com/set but u have 2 pick a paymet plan is that the reason cuz my copmuter sayz i hvae the soft were plz help me so i dont have 2 go return it
