Socom 2 us navy seals PS2?

Ok I am having a problem with the game. when I get to the mission where you discover the secret lab I finish the whole mission and received a letter grade B how come the screen freezes and says Socom 2 us navy seals
LOADING……
it never loads it is frozen and it isnt over heated I even delet most of my saved files from different games and made 4.3kB of space.

Has anyone encountered this problem and the cd is scratched but i used brasso to repair it and still trying to.
